Deacon Stephen Richardson

My name is Deacon Stephen Richardson my ministerial time is divided between Dorking Christian Centre and Cobham United Church. Both appointments are expressions of fulfilling our Methodist calling. My passion is making the Gospel relevant for a world in so much need.

I studied for a BA (hons) at York St John in Theology and Ministry, however, learning is a lifelong experience, so I have taken a number of courses relating to mission and ministry, alongside some practical studies, relating to mental health, first aid and older people’s spirituality.

This is my sixth appointment. My ministerial experience gained from my appointments have included Pastoral Care, Community outreach, Social Justice, worship & preaching and serving alongside the most needy in our society.
